This is high quality product which completely corresponds to it value. All the aspects and details are well thought out and nothing is there by chance. The model is Spyderco take on the "resolza" - a traditional folding knife of Pattada in Sardinia, Italy. First to point out is that the synergy between the traditional design and the Spyderco signature lines is outstanding. The used materials are all high end, and the fit and finish of the entire knife is perfect, even in the smallest details. The specific blade shape in combination with the smoothly contoured handle work fantastically. In operation, the knife feels solid and reliable in the hand, and is very comfortable in virtually any grip. The texture on the G10 scales is pleasant on touch and look. The mechanics function smooth and reliable. For it size, the knife does not suffer from lack of blade- or handle-length. Also it is very compact both, in folded and open position. Would underline that here the aesthetics and the functionality does not interfere, but complement each other. There is one peculiarity which is not common in most Syderco model. The knife is not dedicated for flick-opening as well as closing by the own weight of the blade. In my opinion, this is not a downside, but rather safety feature of the knife, which makes the one hand opening/closing completely controllable. The pocket clip is reversible, tip up carry only. In General, it does not cause hot spots (could be noted at saber grip only) and works great. In conclusion, I do recommend this excellent edc/gentlemen pocket knife.
