The Classic Expedition is a heavy duty working axe designed for larger felling tasks and other difficult jobs, though it also performs well with common splitting. The head is ground and polished to a highly reflective finish that reduces friction when cutting and improves rust resistance. The handle is crafted from sustainably sourced American hickory, and is linseed oil finished. Due to its impressive size and finish, the Expedition is frequently purchased as a gift and displayed. Comes with standard top grade American cow hide 6oz leather adjustable sheath.
