Navalha Cheburkov Strizh large Damascus, Carbon Fibre, gray hw

I love this knife. The carbon fiber scales make it light yet durable. The damascus pattern is beautiful. The blade is razor sharp. I have absolutely no complaints about this knife.

This knife is excellent in almost every way. Fit and finish is stellar, fires as hard as any knife I've ever owned and it can be adjusted to free drop or close in a more controlled fashion depending upon preference and pivot adjustments. It's a pleasure to cut with with its full flat grind and modest blade stock. The carbon fiber is polished and amongst the nicest in my collection currently and compares favorably to brands like Reate and CKF. My only complaints are as follows, the Damascus pattern is very very hard to see regardless of angle or exposure to light natural or otherwise. It is mirror polished but the pattern should and could look a little more distinct considering the cost of the knife. My second complaint is about the hardware. It's pretty bad for a knife at this price point. I disassembled the entire knife to clean it, oil it and tune it a day or so after receiving it. When I went to reassemble it one of the body screws broke and had to be loctited in place. This is exactly why Titanium hardware is a poor decision - it's too soft to be viable on folding knives of this caliber. At the very least they could include a few extra screws as I'll guarantee I'm not the first or last customer that will happen to. All in all I love my Strizh but the issue of soft Titanium hardware and lackluster Damascus patterning are disappointing. The Strizh is still one of my favorites but it could be even better with a few improvements. (I'd have been more comfortable with 4.5 stars but it's not an option so 4 it is). Also, Lamnia is awesome. I live in the US and had my knife just as quickly as if I had purchased it stateside. Thank you, lamnia.
