The Cold Steel Recon series has over the years become something of a classic. Designed especially for tactical use, these knives are reliable and durable companions even in demanding conditions. This Tanto version features a high-carbon, chromium-rich CPM S35VN steel blade – an outstanding balance of hardness, toughness, and corrosion resistance, making it an excellent choice for a survival knife. The blade is coated with a matte-black DLC finish. It opens quickly with the ambidextrous thumb stud, and the patented Tri-Ad lock mechanism secures the blade in place. The handle scales are made of weather- and impact-resistant G10 composite. Its ergonomic, hand-conforming design ensures a secure and comfortable grip. Naturally, the handle is also equipped with a pocket clip for convenient carry.
Weighing 150 grams, the knife measures about 14 cm when closed.
