Peltonen Knives M07 Ranger Puukko Teflon, camo kydex sheath

J-P Peltonen is a man who knows knives — but also the conditions where a proper knife is needed. Peltonen designed the Ranger Knife while serving in the Finnish Defence Forces. This M07 version is specially designed for outdoorsmen.

The Ranger Knife is a typical Finnish tool for versatile use — a helper in the wilderness and extreme conditions. Many remember it from the army, and for many it’s a familiar tool in official duties. Hunters process game with the Ranger Knife, and campers rely on it at the evening campfire.

The thick blade is made of PTFE-coated carbon steel. PTFE (Teflon) protects the otherwise rust-prone carbon steel from corrosion — reduces friction and prevents dirt buildup. The coating also meets food safety certification standards. The blade withstands tougher use and can be easily sharpened when needed.

The TPV handle (thermoplastic vulcanizate) feels rubbery. The material is practically indestructible — it resists wear, impacts, chemicals, and weather or temperature changes. It also has excellent recyclability. Special attention has been paid to the handle’s shape and texture — it stays firmly in grip even with wet hands and endures tough conditions.

The camo-patterned Kydex sheath holds the knife firmly in place. The sheath allows versatile carry options. The sheath is made by Vegvisir Creations from Mikkeli. Several color patterns are available.
