TRC Knives South Pole Leather

This knife sheath is made from the highest quality leather and is far superior to the standard South Pole knife sheath made from Kydex.

Just like the TRC knives, the sheath couldn’t be better!

It's a very well-made sheath that has very tight hold of the knife. The knife isn't moving anywhere once it's been pushed all the way in. This might and probably will change over time once the sheath is used more, but the grip is still very secure when new. However, it's also a bit too tight as it's not easy at all to get the knife out with just one hand. I was a bit disappointed to discover that there is no plastic or wooden insert inside the sheath to protect the leather from the edge. One would definitely expect such in this price range. There was also some kind of plastic or leather powder (= dirt, basically) inside the sheath but not too much. The biggest gripe is that the knife sits too high and too firmly on the belt which causes it to feel uncomfortable even in normal carry but especially when sitting down or bending over to pick up something. The sheath needs a dangler loop to be practically useful.
