Nóż składany Fällkniven PXL Magnum Folder - Elmax - Grilon PXLX

Long overdue. The previous version had a flat grind, and Cos steel was not enough for this knife to stand out in the competition. This new upgrade to Elmax and a convex grind gives this knife unique selling points. The old version wasn't bad, there was just no reason to choose it over say, a Manix 2 or an Osborne. But now, at this price point, its hard to find a convex ground folding knife, let alone one with Fallkniven's excellent Elmax + convex combo. The liner lock is the best Ive used, with no play whatsoever. The action is smooth, not fidgety and flicky, but with the perfect amount of resistance. Its a heavier knife, but it carries surprisingly well in the pocket and feels good and solid in the hand. This is a gentlemans pocket knife, built with Falknivens quality standards. If you are looking at Spyderco and Benchmade, this is as good and deserves your consideration!

A very well made knife.

Well thought folding knife in all aspects. There is nothing over- or under-build in it - everything is just right. Most impressive is its practical functionality and reliability, which are combined with quality materials, smooth action and no need of special care - something which Fallkniven are known for. Moreover, the knife is sturdy, but not too heavy, and feels great in the hand, independently of the holding grip. The handle material, grilon, may give to someone a plastic-like feeling, but this material is really durable and, due to its checkered pattern, has a perfect grip. The pocket clip is placed at the front end of the handle and, in my experience with the knife, this give more comfort and extra grip. The Fallkniven's laminated CoS steel at the blade is rated as one of the most balanced stainless steels and it is so in practice. The blade is in flat saber grind, with secondary v-edge, and the swadge edge provides enough thin tip for precise work. The opening/closing with right hand is comfortable and easy. However, it is more difficult if try to do so with the left hand. The locking mechanism is solid and secure (there is a stop, if the blade unlocked by chance). Even after more hard and intensive use, there was no blade play or de-centering. In conclusion, this is a well build, high quality and reliable working folding knife, which - in my opinion - deserves five out of five stars. Bedste foldekniv jeg har ejet. Perfekt at åbne/lukke med én hånd. God balance i stålets hårdhed: holder sig skarp + let at slibe. Super greb selv med fedtede fingre.

C'est vraiment une pure merveille ce couteau. Il n'est pas très beau mais qu'est ce qu'il est bien à manipuler et à utiliser .

A good folder, fit and finish is perfec, strong and reliable, just a knife to be used. A bit heavy because of the full liners, but it is not a problem to me, I wanted a strong knife to use in the field, not a toy to play with in front of TV. The handle is very grippy, comfortable in differen grips but a bit bulky and squared. Anyways I didn't find hot spots using it hard on wood. Clip is quite stiff and safe. Blade shape is not fancy, just a shape that makes it usable and reliable. 90 degrees spine works well. It is my first San Mai in cos steel, I will se with use how it works. The only small complain I can make is that the sharpening angle is a bit steep, the cut is not as my others convex grind Fällkniven, but the sharpening angle can be modified. For Fällkniven, if you hear me: I think a new version of this model with a strong back lock and a reversible clip would be great.
