The EBM Machete by Estwing is an essential tool for campers and trailblazers. Machetes are great tools for cutting and chopping in woodland and jungle environments as well as butchering wild game. This particular machete is forged from one piece of steel, making it very stable and nearly unbreakable. On the spine of the blade is a sawback with offset teeth made for tough objects such as wood and rope. The handles are designed to be comfortable while working as well as provide shock reduction. The machete comes with a tough nylon sheath.

This is a real work horse, doesn't need to be super sharp, I've used it to cut Vines without damaging the tree trunk, the saw back, works on smaller thumb thickness branches. The anti vibe hand grip allows for different positioning of a gloved hand. I have fitted a lanyard to facilitate being able to use both hands when clearing brush. If you wanted a quiet sheath, you've bought the wrong machete, it's a good cover with secure press stud fixing when not in use, after using a thorough clean and light oiling is all that is needed,
