The Cold Steel G.I. Tanto, true to its name, features a broad tanto blade and is not limited to a single, specific use.
It is suitable for many purposes, for example when a reliable survival knife is needed. It has removable polypropylene handle scales – a feature that makes it even more versatile and allows it to be used as a spear when needed. In addition, the Cold Steel G.I. Tanto is a popular throwing knife it is perfectly balanced and can be thrown by either the blade or the handle.
The knife features a 1055 carbon steel blade with a matte black coating. The coating slightly improves the carbon steel’s rust resistance, and the blade also offers excellent wear resistance.
