Pekka Tuominen’s handmade puukko blends Finnish knife tradition with a modern finish.
The hand-forged 115CrV3 blade (“silver steel”) delivers excellent cutting performance, strong toughness, and easy sharpening for demanding use.
The handle is willow root burl, stabilized with cactus-juice treatment to increase durability and reduce wood movement while preserving the natural feel of wood.
Precisely fitted brass fittings develop an elegant patina over time.
The knife is supplied with a leather sheath featuring a wooden liner for secure retention and blade protection.
Working from his North Savo workshop, master bladesmith Pekka Tuominen (Finland’s Knife Maker of the Year 2013) crafts unique, one-of-a-kind knives that unite heritage and modern design.
