Fox Knives Tur 접이식 나이프

Everything I hoped would be, only issue I had was with the pocket clip, it had to be modified by grinding more angle into the ramp to enable it to work properly.

High quality materials and build quality,beautiful design, perfect size for EDC and very comfortable and solid in the hand. Its razor sharp. Its a fairly expensive purchase, but well worth it.

The Tur is a small, elegant pocket knife suitable for medium to light edc carry and also at home in dressier surroundings. The carbon fiber scales are nicely contoured and of high quality. My favorite color for a knife handle is carbon fiber and this is one of the nicer available examples of quality materials and workmanship. The blade complements the handle - shape and fit and finish of both are very attractive and it comes very sharp out of the box. If you don’t buy your knives by the pound you will like this one.

Beautifully made, lovely edge.

The design of the knife is absolutely wonderful. I love the blade length and its stockiness. The handle is comfortable and fits my medium hand perfectly. Unfortunately, there were quite a few fit and finish issues. Firstly, the blade has slight up and down and side to side blade play. I find this pretty terrible for a $200 knife. Side to side is sometimes passable but up and down is terrible. I can feel the loose blade every time I lock the blade and press down on the jimping. Secondly, the carbon fiber was not sanded down property on the inside edges of the scales. Its fairly rough to run my fingers along the top and bottoms of the handle. It's so rough that I got a 1mm carbon fiber splinter under by ring finger knuckle. I had a hell of a time digging that out. I believe that Fox ruined an otherwise superbly designed knife with poor quality control and workmanship. It's really a shame.

The knife I got had quite a lot of play when locked open. Both side to side and up and down. I returned the knife. Up and down play is not acceptable on a knife that cost this much. Designwise the TUR still is a hit though.

Gedigen känsla, mycket väl utformad klinga vid tillfällen då tumme och pekfinger håller i klingan - t ex barkning av ene. Dock är klingan av elmax = svårt att uppnå maximal eggskärpa. Så för fiske o jakt hade jag valt något annat. Fast för mitt ändamål (barkning) - perfekt!
