Bastinelli Picoeur Stonewashed,is a very nice scalpel.I can see it being good for self defense,but that is not why i brought one,but just to add to my knife collection.The scalpel itself is well made,and very good quality,with it's N690 cobalt steel which is perfect for this scalpel,and Bastinelli has done a fantastic job with Doug Marcaida,to create a strong Scalpel.
