A handmade knife is expensive and if we’re being honest not functionally better than many mass made knives. This knife and sheath have no flaws and I’m sure will be handed down to my son. Happy to support traditional craftsmen keeping centuries old skills alive.
Superb moderate sized Puukko at just under 8". Light, nimble and exceptionally well balanced. Outstanding shaped blade with a rhombic grind and forge markings above the grind line. Beautiful soft, smooth birch back handle that has excellent hand feel. Arrived with a keen edge. Absolutely beautiful traditional Puukko. 5 Stars all day long. Jeff C.
