Viper Dan2 折り畳みナイフ

I found the Dan 2 design/construction to be consistent with the Viper line, which is to say overall excellent. Two features of personal preference, a blade lock and a top tang for opening are not included. Oddly enough I selected that knife to experience and evaluate those absences while now remaining to favor those features. As delivered the blade opened with a level of resistance to be expected from a new knife, which then increased markedly soon after. After loosening (requiring two identical torx bits) and operating the blade for a while it seemed to settle in, blade was subsequently readjusted and has remained consistent, offering normal resistance. May have added a drop of unfancy oil, that being a true, fully synthetic engine type. After a bit of practice I'm now able to open it with one hand..

Like all my Viper knives, this is beautiful. Fit and finish on the highest level. The knife weighs next to nothing, yet doesn't feel flimsy at all. Incredibly sharp, too. With a little practice, you can snap it open with one hand. The "action stopper" mechanism is no lock, but then no lock is needed for cutting, and the knife is legal to carry as an EDC.
