Most excellent!

The best knife of its size I've ever used. Ergonomics feel tailor made for me. Blade is wide and ends up pretty thin. Very lightweight for how much knife it is. Fit and finish coming from TRC is perfect as usual. I was hesitating with it at first cause with its price is quite of a commitment, especially having other knives in a similar size range. However this has felt better than the others in pretty much every way.

This is a fantastic knife, no doubt. Perfectly balanced, with excellent ergonomics (I doubted the handle shape, but it’s excellent), fit and finish on the level of Fällkniven and Lionsteel. That said, it’s clearly overrated, even in Elmax and a kydex sheath. The price is further raised by a pointless padded box - who on earth keeps their knife in a padded box?! Fällkniven made the same mistake years ago, then realized customers would rather spend less and get their knife in a simple cardboard box. TRC could have learned from that. The knife comes with a pointless booklet, written “from knife man to knife man” and goes on to talk about absurd self defense scenarios. One wonders if they don’t want any female customers. So, I recycled the box and booklet, enjoy the admittedly excellent knife - which I will one day leave to my daughters. “From knife man to knife women”.
