Very solid knife, like everything about it a lot. Only minor fault, it is cut a bit more (the grind) on one side than on the other one.

Hyvä terävyys suoraan pakkauksesta, terä vaikuttaa hyvin jämerältä materiaalivahvuuden osalta. Kahvassa hyvä pito kumimateriaalin osalta, mutta omaan käteen saisi tukevampi kahvan loppuosuuden ja sormitopparin osalta. Jämäkkä tuppi, jossa hyvin erilaisia kiinnitysmahdollisuuksia eri sovellutuksiin.

Now this is a knife! Honestly, it’s great and does not leave a lot to be desired. Handle is great, very grippy and comfortable in the hand. The knife balances and handles well if it were ever to be used in its intended combat/fighting role. As a camp/survival knife, or something to keep in your toolbox instead of a traditional puukko it’s very usable as well. And you can just absolutely trash on this knife and it just keeps coming back for more. You could start building a new civilization with this knife after the zombie apocalypse. The blade is easy to touch up or sharpen and the high carbon steel is extremely tough. Came pretty sharp out of the box, too. I have the VG10 San Mai version as well, and that’s crazy sharp, and I keep that as more of a collector piece. This SK5 version is an excellent user, and very affordable. Great knife, definitely recommended for anyone looking for a tough durable tanto, that’s pretty good as a all round replacement for a more traditional puukko or drop/clip point survival knife as well.

Veitsi on laadukkaasti tehty ja erittäin kestävä rajuunkin käyttöön. Istuu omaan käteeni hyvin ja kahvasta saa pitävän otteen märkänäkin. Helppo pitää terässä. Tuppi on varustettu monipuolisilla kiinnitysmahdollisuuksilla. Tupin vyölenkki tiputti yhden tähden pois. Se on todella lerppu ja jo nyt huomaan sen olevan kokonaisuuden heikoin lenkki - kirjaimellisesti. Hyvä ja jämäkkä kokonaisuus.

Super mooi mes. Ondanks de 'eenvoudige'tanto vorm, is dit een van de gaafste messen in mn verzameling ! Het heeft een goede houvast , n lekkere dikke rug , en het is verschrikkelijk scherp ! Het foudraal is ook mooi, goede pasvorm, en kan tegen een stootje. Al met al ben ik zeer tevreden met de Cold Steel Recon Tanto SK5 , dus krijgt ie 5 dikke sterren van me.

Stabil kniv från Cold steel, stämde korrekt in på produktbeskrivning. Väl paketerad, god service och snabb leverans.

Excellent product, excellent service

Good price/quality ratio. Steel is conventional carbon steel, but strong enough for task intended, easily sharpened. Overall the knife has a nice symmetrical grind (often lacks in factory knives in this price range) and a very comfortable grip. Would recommend if you are looking for a general use/fighting knife.
