Pini's Tinder is a Finnish innovation, which is intended for emergency situations, but it also saves time and effort in a basic use. The Pini’s tinder is guaranteed to start a fire quickly and effortlessly. A single storm match placed in the tinder can be lit even in a strong wind or rain with the help of a lighter. When the condiotions are favourable, the authentic scent of tar creates a warm atmosphere.

The idea is quite simple as the Pini’s Tinder combines several easily flammable materials into one compact package. The materials used are a piece of egg carton, good old birchbark, melted stearin (paraffin) and authentic pine tar from Suomussalmi. This combination guarantees excellent flammability even in a strong wind. The burn time of the Pini’s tinder is also long; even twenty minutes at its best.

The product is packed in a waterproof package which can be easily carried in a pocket.
