LifeStraw Universal is a two-stage adapter set that can be installed into almost any water bottle with a height of at least 18,5 cm, a standard twist and a suitable opening. LifeStraw Universal comes with two caps of different sizes to give the user more leeway.

In the first stage of filtering, the water passes through extremely thin fibers with a pore size of 0,2 microns that removes 99,9999% of the bacteria (such as Salmonella, E.Coli, Vibrio, Shigella etc.) and 99,999% of parasites (for example, Giardia and Cryptosporidium)
The second stage introduces an activated carbon filter that reduces chlorine and organic impurities, while also improving the taste. The activated carbon filter should be changed about every 100 liters.

The actual filter can endure as much as 4000 liters of water.
LifeStraw Universal contains a two-stage filter, two caps of different sizes, two different mouthpieces (a standard model and a sport model) in addition to a top lid with a handle and a handy carry bag.
