The manufacture of the KUPILKA products started in 2003.
KUPILKA products have been designed by Kari Kuisma together with a well-known Finnish architect and designer Heikki Koivurova. KUPILKA means a “little cup” and the word stems from the Finnish word “kuppi”. It also refers to a term used by Finnish people decades ago, when men and women warmed up their hands with their “kupilka” or “little cup” by drinking hot beverages during the rough Finnish winters.
KUPILKA products are made from eco-friendly Kareline Natural Fibre Composite material. This means that they are light, durable and dishwasher safe.
Moominpappa is ready to do anything for his family. He enjoys living in Moominvalley, but is also curious and ready to try new things. Adventures are always welcome – and luckily they often come his way.
Moominpappa is also a dreamer who likes whisky and the company of dubious friends. He enjoys pondering life’s big issues and often makes notes of his observations. Writing is very important to Moominpappa. He truly loves the sea and believes himself to be a skilled sailor and fisherman.
