Liigendnuga Cheburkov Strizh large Damascus, Carbon Fibre, bronze hw

The pivot would not loosen no matter what, even with friction on the free spinning side, heat and torque. Since it free spins, there is no way to keep it from spinning on its own. It must have been loaded with red loctite at the factory. Then, trying to loosen the body screws, the very first one just snapped off entirely. Must be really cheap screws, as I have never had that happen to me before. EVER! The other body screws loosened fine. I returned the knife as defective, as that is what I considered it to be...defective. Free spinning pivots should be outlawed, but these Russian knife makers continue to use them for some unknown reason. I really liked the knife, and I should have had the right to disassemble it for maintenance, however, they gave me no way of doing so. BAD!

Ok, only negative really was the sharpening,wasnt very good but sorted now..with a 4000 grit polished edge and is now awesome..This is my 4th cheburkov,other 3 came well sharpened, and these Russian knives I like as much as Reate[which says a lot] First off let me just say how light this knife is,no probs edc ing, action really smooth with stud, dead centered and solid. Ergos are really good and the Damascus looks lovely within the satin finish. Carbon fibre really nice , no voids, pocket clip is ok..i don't normally leave them on , but it doesn't create a hotspot. Very nice knife, keep up the good work lamnia, and this wont be my last Cheburkov.
