Great sharp functional and attractive knife.

Great little knife, well crafted, perfectly sharp on arrival. The handle provides good grip, its finish is not absolutely smooth which also helps (but will probably smooth out over time). The sheath is nice and works well.

A fine knife.Fit and Finnish very good. Excellent grind and quite sharp the sheath is great. I got it for my daughter and she loves it. Great tool for carving n fire craft!

This is my first Ahti and I’m nothing less than impressed. It’s not a custom refined piece to display but a well made tool. The closest comparison I know of at this price point is the Morakniv Classic 2/0. The Mora blade has proven to be a work horse EDC at home and work daily. I don’t have as much cutting experience with Lauri blades(I have a custom Toni Makela w/Lauri) but their reputation proceeds and it is an arguably better steel than Moras stamped carbons. The handle is supposed to be ‘curly birch’ but mine looks pretty straight grained; a handsome & functional leather sheath is included; basic brass bolster, and guard. They're not the prettiest but a real step up from the Mora Classic and well worth the extra $15-$20.
