It's not the knife's fault, but it feels like this very weak tip will bend at a blow. I know it's not a prybar, but for normal everyday use it's seems to be week.

CIVIVI Button Lock Elementum is a pretty good knife,and i really like the button mechanism,which releases the blade.The knife is well made,and is good value for the money,but i did need to sharpen the factory edge.Once i sharpened the knife,it really comes into it's own,and is an amazing bit of equipment you can rely on.

Excellent knife, as usual from civivi, a larger version of the classic, flawless action and great styling option in the Damascus etc, great size too, highly recommended!

A fine pocket knife. Good finish, no play on the blade. Solid lock up. Very grippy micarta scales. A joy to EDC.

I bought this to be my EDC/beater pocket knife. I'm very happy with it. I also own a flipper/liner lock Elementum in D2. This Button lock has a slightly longer blade made of a cheaper steel. The version I got also has black coated blade and the handle material is micarta instead of G10. Sandvik 14C28N is a good enough steel for a EDC knife if it works for scandi blades it'll work for this slight convex grind just fine. The blade is very slicey and works surprisingly well for tasks like food prep. I even managed to cut up a smallish watermelon with relative ease with this knife. The blade is well centered. The lock mechanism once broken in works very smooth and no blade stick. Best part is you can use it very much like a gravity knife, point closed knife down and press button and it will open with gravity alone. Of course you can flick and fidget it open as well. The weight is light, dimensions are thin and pocket clip is deep carry. All ideal for this type of knife. I prefer the feel of G10 to Micarta and while cutting up some greasy grilled meat the micarta got stained and wouldn't wipe clean. After washing with mild soap solution + brush I got it mostly clean. I do like patina on my user stuff so not a big deal for me. In the photo you can see some wear an tear to the coating. It is from cutting up aluminum cans while making improvised mosquito repellent devices when the Thermacell broke down. I think those streaks are mainly aluminum particles stuck to the coating rather then scratches like how a pencil works. After use easy to clean thanks to open pillar construction, beware do not carry in same pocket as keys and change your blade will be dulled. A good knife for the price 4/5.

Well the knife is awesome.... Been edc"ing" it since it arrived and love it I use my knife a lot at work and it still manages to shave... The button lock it's really fun... Here in Spain you're not leggaly allowed to carry a balisong "well any time in general if it's not justified with a reasonable purpose " and I allways find myself playing with it.... Great tool and toy 100% recomended

Нож, отличный. Микарта и покрытие клинка тактильно оказалось лучше чем на фото. Со временем видимо пылью из кармана и мелкой тканевой забиваются подшипники и нож не так бодро летает. Но это лечится обыкновенным продувом, из пневмо насоса (шиномонтаж вам в помощь))). Заводскую заточку не менял, только мусат и это отличный резак. Магазин как всегда на высоте, отправка в самые короткие сроки, и трекер для отслеживания. Очень рекомендую, нож радует.

Нож стоит своих денег, отличный нож на карман.
