Hailing from Australia, the Tasmania pattern axe boasts a uniquely wide-forged blade, developed for use on the iron hard woods often found in Austrialia. This pattern head is often used for timbersport competitions and is great as a training axe. It will serve equally as a felling or splitting tool. There are very few makers that produce the Tasmania pattern head now. Comes with standard top grade American cow hide 6oz leather adjustable sheath.

Great axe for splitting logs. Super quality. Did come all the way from Finland, but delivery was very quick. Payment was in euros, so your bank may take a small payment for converting from Sterling, just to be aware.
