The Carinthia Defence 6 is a high-performance winter sleeping bag engineered for extreme cold and demanding arctic environments. Designed for serious winter expeditions, high-altitude use and military operations, it provides dependable thermal protection when temperatures fall far below freezing. Its temperature ratings are Comfort -8.8 °C, Limit -18 °C and Extreme -40 °C.

A three-layer G-LOFT® sandwich construction delivers substantial insulation while a loose-fitting outer shell allows the filling to retain its loft. The mummy shape and Differential Cut construction further improve heat retention and help eliminate cold spots.

A dedicated thermal collar limits heat loss around the neck and shoulders, keeping warm air inside the sleeping bag. Thermoflect technology reflects a portion of body heat back toward the user to increase thermal efficiency without unnecessary additional bulk.

The centrally positioned two-way zipper incorporates a quick-release closure for easy access and rapid emergency exit. A generous internal zipper heat flap reduces thermal loss, while the external zipper cover helps keep wind and moisture away. An Anti-Snag band provides smoother zipper operation even when wearing gloves.

The trapezoidal foot section provides additional room and warmth around the feet. A pack sack is included for compressed storage and transport.
