The carbon steel blade is excellent for cutting wood shavings and can be easily resharpened to its original state. However, remember to take proper care of your carbon steel knife. Always dry the blade carefully after use and oil the blade with unsalted oil on a regular basis. This will ensure your knife will serve you loyally from one year to the next.

This is a well crafted knife, beautiful in its simplicity. Fit and finish is superb and it came razor sharp. I also appreciate the sturdy traditional sheath.
