The Carinthia MIG 5.0 Jacket is a tactical insulation jacket engineered for highly dynamic operations in cold and unpredictable conditions. Developed with professional equipment use in mind, it is particularly well suited to military special forces, tactical operators, vehicle crews, security professionals and dynamic sport shooters. The jacket is optimized for active use in temperatures down to -15 °C.

Its defining feature is the innovative Side Access System. Continuous zippers run from the hem to the underarms, providing immediate access to holsters, magazines, tools and other belt-mounted equipment without having to open the jacket from the front.

G-LOFT® insulation uses 125 g/m² around the body and 80 g/m² in the sleeves, providing effective warmth while retaining its thermal performance even in wet conditions. CARINTHIA ISO MAPPING® further optimizes the placement of insulation for efficient heat management.

A new two-part front zipper improves mobility when sitting, driving or working with equipment. Large mesh inner pockets can be used for storing, warming or drying gloves and other gear, while a zippered Napoleon inner pocket keeps essential items secure and accessible.

The CARINTHIA® SOF 2L outer construction is windproof and highly water-repellent, providing reliable protection when weather conditions deteriorate. MIG 5.0 combines serious insulation with tactical functionality without compromising access to critical equipment.
