The Black Forest Woodworker was originally designed for the renowned Black Forest of Germany. It is the quintessential tool for the experienced woodsman. This new axe is a midweight version of iconic 1000g Woodworker. With a slightly heavier head weight and longer 70cm handle, this axe gives a bit more when you need it, while still retaining its useful compact size, allowing it to be used as both a midweight work axe and a dependable packing tool. The widened blade allows this axe to perform exceptionally well as a cutting tool, while still being able to handle moderate splitting work. Comes with standard top grain cowhide 6-7oz leather adjustable sheath.
