The closest Helle knife to a Finnish puukko, in overall design, blade strength and length. The knife is very well balanced and extremely comfortable to hold and use. If you are in the market for only one bushcraft knife ever, and draw the line at 100 euros, this might just be my top recommendation. Finnish knife makers traditionally prefer carbon steel (80CrV2), but I would suggest this is mainly, because they all get their blades from Laurin metalli, whose only stainless steels on offer are Böhler 1.4116 (a kitchen knife steel) and N690 (a much more expensive midrange steel). In my experience (and confirmed by metallurgical tests published in the Knife Steel Nerds blog), Swedish Alleima steels like 12C27 and 14C28N are preferable. They combine the desirable qualitied of carbon steel (toughness and ease of sharpening) with high corrosion resistance. Hence, my top recommendation.
