Great beater knife. Replaces a fix blade when you might not need one, yet you want to have something on you that will do any job.

The medium folding knife from Cold Steel's Recon 1 series. Not too big, not too small, comes with Glass Reinforced Nylon (GRN) handle, a decent AUS-10 stainless steel blade and the well known Tri-Ad lock system. A very tough knife for a reasonable price
