Peltonen Knives Leather sheath for Ranger Puukko

This traditional leather sheath offers an alternative way to carry your Ranger Puukko Knife. Made from highly durable leather and reinforced with rivets, the sheath securely holds the knife — even allowing you to carry it handle-down without fear of it falling out. The knife sits about one-third of the way into the handle.

The sheath features a thumb ramp that allows for one-handed deployment. Inside is a plastic liner that protects the leather from the edge and tip of the blade. A drainage hole is located at the bottom.

Multiple carrying options are available. A strap with hook-and-loop fastener and a hanging loop are included. The sheath has a metal ring on the back for threading the strap, which wraps under your belt and fastens with Velcro. As the strap is pressed between your body and the belt, accidental loss is virtually impossible.

On the front, a riveted leather overlay offers an alternative attachment point for the strap, allowing for horizontal carry on your belt.
