Great product! Okay, one may make one at home using a bit of leather and a floorboard, but this one is streamlined, good size and quality, comes already covered in honing compound, and you get a small rod of compound gratis.
This was my first Strop. it worked great for what it is. i have since upgraded alot, and only use diamond emulsions, but this will still do the job for deburring after a sharpening. will still use it for tools, but the green compound is not for the "fancy" pocket knives with mirror edges
