This axe is a work of art. I don't think I've ever seen an axe that is sharper than most of the knives I've received out of the box. The only worry (and it's always a worry with the wooden handles) is will it get loose once it sees some real use? I noticed that a little bit of the extra space in between the head and the handle was filled in with what looked like epoxy. Hopefully, it holds up, because this axe just looks awesome and has very good proportions to become an all-around camping axe.
i have found the perfect axe, fit and function out-preform GB in my opinion and the thing is a work of art. thank you for carrying such fine tools. i will be a returning customer
