Captain of Finnish defense forces, Jukka-Pekka Peltonen designs and makes a series of ranger knives known as sissipuukko. J-P Peltonen knife is a master piece of simplicity, including the strong blade with teflon coating and superb sheath.
One of the key strengths of the Ranger Puukko is its innovative sheath design. This durable sheath, made from composite plastic, is available for both Ranger Knife models.
Thanks to the rubber roller mechanism, the knife stays securely in place, and the sheath won't loosen with use. When needed, the knife can still be drawn quickly—even with one hand.
The Velcro-attached belt loop is compatible with MOLLE systems and allows for carrying the knife even upside down, for example on the shoulder strap of a backpack or rucksack.
Suitable for both right- and left-handed users.
