Burnley at his best!
lovely quality, nicely made. the bottom of the handle dug in to my fingers. it stays at 45 degrees when folding, for safety, but that can already be a cut. so...it looks ergonomic but it isnt (for me). the angle of the primary bevels remind me why i generally avoid sabre grind. too thick behind the cutting edge perhaps. doesnt matter how sharp, it struggles with my initial paper cut tests. the complete lack of ricasso or finger choil is uneccesary risk in a slip joint folder (imo). i'm very happy with the collector knives/ lionsteel shuffler jack. (lion steel are in the mkm combine as far is i've seen). both are m390. the shuffler satisfies all my criticisms of the fara. from the same place at a very similar price
I love the quality of construction of my Fara. It has become my everyday knife that I carry with me all the time. I get nothing but complements from anyone whom I show my knife to. The M390 steel is top of the line too.
nice knife, but it came with a really terrible centered blade.
i was able to fix it by switching the washer (odly enough, my knife had only 1washer) to the opposite side.
another point i want to mention are the wooden scales, they are way too soft and scratch up very easily.
the grind and the sharpness ootb were great.
mkm (mikita) should improve their qc.
I really like this society of manufacturers (MKM). I have several of his knives and they all seem excellent. In this case, it is a first level slipjoint. The settings are very good, the best steel and an avant-garde line difficult to overcome. Very satisfied with her.
