The award-winning Para 3 Lightweight is rapidly redefining the state of the art in ultralight cutting tools. For tactical end users who prefer subdued blade finishes, this revolutionary design is now also available with a stealthy black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating.

Its PlainEdge™ blade is full-flat ground from CTS® BD1N stainless steel and supported by a streamlined version of Spyderco’s patented Compression Lock® mechanism. To complement the blade’s finish, the screws and reversible deep-pocket carry clip on its injection-molded, fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle also sport a non-reflective black coating.

Really pleased with the knife. The action is great, it came dead centered, despite the fact that it has only one washer and this is proven to be an issue with the blade centering.

Too light, toy-like texture sound than para3 G10 handle at first but absolutely smoother, easy-to-use once I got the hang of its features.

Light EDC meets fast & fidgety. Brilliant engineering went into this little knife. It is truly amazing how well the compression lock works in such a simplistic construction! The result is an extremely functional tool that is also fun to use. The handle is very grippy, well textured and more chamfered than on other American made Spyderco FRN knives. However, it also feels cheap and plasticky, which is the only negative thing I can find about this knife. It's the price you pay for having all the design issues of the original Para 3 fixed. And speaking of the price: I suppose you gotta be a fan to buy Spydercos these days... Thanks to Lamnia for providing them to us Europeans, including special offers and flawless super fast order processing.

Perfekt storlek för en EDC: lite större/ stabilare än en Delica (och i min mening en lite bättre bladform) Möjligtvis känner man av låset i handen lite, där är Manix 2 bättre men Para 3 försvinner bättre i fickan. Vad gäller stålet tycker jag folk snöar in för mycket på molekylär nivå: de flesta stål på knivar i denna prisklass är helt tillfredställande. Självklart Spydercovass direkt ur lådan. Skulle vara trevligt med en 50/50 version...
