Not cleaned, not polished, lot of smudges on the blade. Should be lot better.

Good looking knife, not too heavy, not too light, construction seems sturdy but it is not. This is a fighting knife and it's evident as soon as the handle is in your hand (balance, slash and stab move recovery, quick chop moves). Or a wall piece to put on display. Anything survival, especially batoning, forget it, you'll own the knife for one trip and then it's done. The blade is kind of sharpish out of the box but not really. Few swipes on a butcher knife honing steel gets it to razor sharp and it holds edge well unless you intentionally want to destroy it. If you don't beat it and abuse it, it's 5 stars in the value for the money.

If you want a knife that chops 2 square meters of wood, than slices tomatoes like an Itallian chef...then i sugest you buy this. P.S. chicks love this knife ;)

Value for money, great for display or cowboy renactors, but not sharp at all, not even close to cold steel's razor sharp edges.

solo lo tengo en mi coleccion no le doy uso por lo tanto no puedo decir nada mas es una buena marca y supongo que los materiales son los correctos.

it is a very nice knife but for the price paid the blade polishing is nothing short of embarrassing and does not do honor to such an important article. Against the light along the blade you can see the difference between a part of polishing performed horizontally and a part vertically. Sorry but NOT SATISFIED!

Great Bowie for the money, build as a tank. Safe grip,good steel and the sheet is well maid. A great tool in the Woods with a impressive bite in wood!

Well constructed, needed sharpening out off the box but it's easy to get a good edge, oxidation is a concern but that's not a flaw just the character of 1095HC, great edge retention, highly recomend it!

Had to fastening a screw on the handle , it had a lot of ugly marks on the brass . Could not understand why the rope were set on the holster rather then on the handle. Otherwise a great knife but it could have been sharper . I recommend this item and site.
